The Don Bosco Jugendwerk Bamberg plans to build a new modern education and support center for His Bartolomeo Garelli School and the Giovanni Center of Healing Education. Both facilities are currently housed in an aging building that no longer meets today's pedagogical and structural requirements. With the new building on the site of the former Maisel brewery creates a future-oriented place for education, promotion and social participation. The new building is intended to offer children and adolescents a protected, structured and appealing learning and habitat with special needs. A total of ten classrooms and Group and therapy rooms that are tailored to the needs of the students. Bright rooms, retreat and modern equipment create an environment in which young people can feel comfortable and be encouraged individually. In the new building there are also rooms integrated for the curative education day care center. In addition to school, this offers intensive care, support and therapeutic support in the afternoon. This enables close integration of school and day care center, which gives children security and orientation.
For the services The property planning building and interiors as well as the services of the object planning open systems were carried out by a non -open realization competition according to RPW 2013.
