The construction project is part of the redesign of Wilhelm-Leuschner-Platz in the city center of Leipzig. According to upstream Architectural competition creates a new institute building for the Leibniz Institute for Regional Studies Leipzig, consisting of an underground car park, ground and mezzanine floors and six upper floors. The sustainable building also has a green roof and a geothermal system.
