Description:
The municipality of Emlichheim was included in the "Emlichheim local core" measure in the urban development program "Living Centers" in 2021. The central goal is to stabilize and strengthen the town center in Emlichheim as a central area. The social infra structure should also be further developed become. Accordingly, the goal of making it available for social infrastructure was formulated for the Wiggerskamp development area, which was located centrally in the village. A new building is to be built for the "Multi -Generation House of Senfkorn", which has existed for almost two decades. The multi -generation house Senfkorn (MGH) currently uses rented rooms in a former house (renting from a private owner) on the busy intersection of Wilsumer Str./Ringer Strasse. The last increased advisory, care and integration needs require one Spatial enlargement that is not possible at the current location. The construction of a new building in the area of the Wiggerskamp is therefore planned. The old location is to be abandoned and the facility is completely shifted from the previous location to the Wiggerskamp. The location for the multi -generation house Senfkorn will continue to lie in the town center of the municipality of Emlichheim. The immediate proximity to the newly created train stop will be with ZOB (reactivation of the railway line by the end of 2026).
