Description: The TU Braunschweig intends to establish a research building Center for Circular Production of Next Batteries and Fuel Cells | CPC at the Campus Research Airport Braunschweig location in the immediate vicinity of the existing buildings of the NFF (Lower Saxony Research Center Vehicle Technology) and NFL (Lower Saxony Research Center for Aviation) as well as in direct connection to the recently built test hall of the BLB2 (Battery Labfactory Braunschweig).
Fraunhofer Gesellschaft is currently planning its research construction Zess (project center for energy storage and systems) on the western property.
The central goal of the CPC is to research the circulation of battery and fuel cells from production to use and recycling.
