- A three-storey expansion of the Leopold Sonnemann Realschule with ten classrooms and office space is being built on Rudolf-Harbig-Platz 7 in Hoechberg. The new building with around 520 square meters of floor space is built in the southern, valley area of the school property above the school garden and connected to the existing school playground. The building is created in solid construction, with a largely concrete basement and brick upper floors. The facade consists of clinker masonry in the basement, the upper floors receive a preceded facade made of fiber cement panels. The roof is carried out as a green roof with ventilation technology and photovoltaic system. Inside, plastered walls, sections in exposed concrete, wooden ceilings with acoustic effects and floor coverings made of linoleum and natural stone are intended. Windows and doors are as wood-aluminum elements with sun protection glazing and venetian stores planned.
A room -high sliding door with the dimensions 3 x 3 meters and the installation of nine room -high integrations is planned. In the work zone on the upper floor, two benches are made, Two tables and three backrests with integrated benches intended as a permanently installed furniture.
