Description:
The four-story vocational high school BON is being built - as the first building block of a large-scale school campus (high school, secondary school and two triple sports halls) - on the former site of the "Prinovis" printing company in the Langwasser district of Nuremberg on Breslauer Strasse. The area of the building plotks is around 10,996m2.
The BON (usable area approx. 4,500m2) is designed for approx. 640 students in the pre-class, 11th, 12th and 13th grades. The following training areas are offered:
-Agriculture, Bio- and Environmental Technology (ABU),
-Social Services
-Technology
-Economy and Administration
The mainThe staircase forms the connecting center of the new building with the auditorium and the three-story atrium. The BON is accessible via both Breslauer Strasse and Gross-Strehlitzer Strasse in the east. The existing trees on the border with Gross-Strehlitzer Strasse should be preserved as far as possibleold and integrated into the open space concept.
The school will be built in a concrete skeleton structure. Clinker was chosen as the facade material.
Technical features: district heating, underfloor heating, ventilation system, photovoltaics.
Construction began in October 2023, planned completionllung Shell construction work September 2024. The entire measure will be completed by mid-2026 so that the school can start operations in the 2026/2027 school year.
