- Due to restructuring in the areas of logistics and operations at Cologne/Bonn Airport, a new location for the border control point (hereinafter referred to as GKS) is required on the western airport premises.
The veterinary station is a border control post (GKS) through the subject area Border inspection point of the Environment and Consumer Protection Office, food monitoring and veterinary services of the city of Cologne Animals and products of animal origin, but also foods of plant origin, are examined before import into the EU to check for the introduction of animal diseases or dangers for the consumer. The new building is a goods inspection and administration building.
The subject of this tender is the construction site equipment and shell construction.

The planned new building does not have a basement and consists of two full floors, with the ground floor being built in solid construction and the upper floor in wooden construction. The supporting structure corresponds to the skeleton construction (reinforced concrete on the ground floor, wood on the upper floor) with reinforcing reinforced concrete walls.
Non-load-bearing interior walls are... Solid ground floor (masonry) and lightweight construction (drywall) on the upper floor.
The floor slab and the ceiling above the ground floor are made of reinforced concrete, the ceiling above the upper floor (flat roof) is made of solid wood.
