• New construction of a cafeteria on the Senden school campus The municipality of Senden intends to build a new cafeteria on the Senden school campus. A total of three schools of different types will be served by the planned cafeteria. The architectural firm Herrmann & Bosch Stuttgart prevailed in a structural design competition with its design, which is characterized by a consistent wooden construction. The clear, easy-to-read design with its longitudinal spatial proportions in one Continuous building grid, is embedded in the park landscape of the Senden school campus on a single floor with a recessed technical floor on the flat roof. Inside, the visitor is welcomed in a foyer and from here it opens to the south the longitudinal dining room behind a glass facade with a roof overhang in front. To the north, the commercial kitchen and other usable areas extend over a total length of approx. 56 m. The specialist planning services for structural and building physics are now to be carried out (thermal protection and energy balancing, room acoustics) will be awarded in a negotiated procedure with a participation competition.
