New construction of combined indoor and outdoor swimming pool in Memmingen - Building automation
The city of Memmingen, Memmingen public utilities,is planning to build a new combined indoor and outdoor pool as a year-round pool. The entire building is designed and planned as a passive house. All construction structures meet the requirements of a passive house and are made in close coordination with the building physics. The new building should be on the areal of the existing outdoor swimming pool, after demolition of the existing building. In the indoor pool area, the new combination pool includes a 25-meter swimming pool with 8 lanes, a diving facility 1 meter / 3 meters, a teaching pool with approx. 12.5 x 10 meters, a course pool with a lifting floor, a small children's pool, etclike other attractions. In the area of the outdoor pool there will be a 50 meter pool with 6 lanes, a non-swimmer pool with approx. 500 m2 with various attractions and a small children's pool with approx. 100 m2. There will also be a beach volleyball court, a playground, etc., and outbuildings in the outdoor areaswith changing rooms, sanitary areas and kiosk built.
