- VE4 vehicle hall The client, Verkehrsverbund Mittelsachsen GmbH (hereinafter also VMS GmbH or AG), intends to plan and build a new depot at Chemnitz Main Station (“Chemnitz Main Station depot - BCH”) for maintenance and To have maintenance of rail vehicles carried out by private partners. The BCH includes a company building and a covered bicycle shelter. The depot will be built on the site of the former product station in Chemnitz and includes: •Workshop building with wheelset processing, work pits, roof work stands •Underfloor cleaning system • Facilities for interior cleaning and for cleaning the toilets on board, including supply and disposal •Track system (approx. 7000m total length, 40 switches) •Access from the tram and railway network with system separation points •Depot control with signal box. The overall project is divided into 3 construction phases: •Phase 1: Workshop, track system and access from the railway network •Phase 2: Ring with brake track •Phase 3: Access from the tram network and parking area. During construction phase 1, various award units (lots) were created by the client. The subject of this procedure is exclusively the award unit VE 4.
