Description:
At the "Campus Gescherweg" location in Gievenbeck, 190 new student dormitories are to be realized in the form of two buildings. The client and builder is the Studentenwerk Muenster. The two buildings are to be built in close proximity to two existing dormitory structures, which together form a kind of student residence campus. The 190 new residential spaces will be created in the form of two building blocks. The access takes place via the existing path south of the parking lot, from which the existing Gescherweg 70-84 dormitory is also accessible. The The front block seen from Gescherweg is 6 storeys high and aligned parallel to Gescherweg 70-84. The second 7-story building is located orthogonally to the first and forms an extension of the existing building from Gescherweg 70-84. The 6-storey building, hereinafter referred to as a component 01, has a gross floor area of approx. 4970 m2 and has a basement (approx. 535 m2). The 110 residential units are accessible via 2 entrances and stairwells. There is a pellet heating center with a pellet bunker in the basement. The 7-story component 02 contains 80 residential units and has a gross floor area of approx. 3340 m2. There is no basement. Both buildings are of solid construction.
