Description:
As part of the project, a new course of the EMS is created over a distance of 1,500 meters in order to improve ecological continuity and the water structure. The measures include the conversion of the EMS by excavation, roughen linen and the installation of sandy material for conversionFrom still in river. To control the amounts of water, an additional movable weir system is integrated into the existing overflow threshold of the Emssee. The water levels are continuously recorded and regulated. Infrastructure measures include the construction of two intersection structures (Breulelwegand Wiesengrund), and the adaptation of the Wiesengrund street over 200 meters long. Various measures are implemented for flood protection: - A flood protection wall along a cycle and footpath (640 m) - raising the Breuelweg and a walking and cycle path (370 m) - Outdoor profilewest of the "Neue EMS" (190 m) - upper flood protection measures on Milter Strasse, including possible flood protection wall with lockable openings In additionTo ensure fish hike even with low water.
