- Warendorfer Energiebedarf GmbH intends to build a heat storage facility at the new Ems heating plant in Warendorf. The HKW must be put into operation in the 2027/2028 heating season. The installation site is on the edge of the new heating plant in Warendorf, in in the immediate vicinity of the B 64. The installation height is approx. 57m. A corresponding site plan is included with the request (see attachment). The following appendix shows floor plans and sections of the new building with storage. The heat storage should be as Pendulum storage can be used. The heat is fed into the existing district heating network. The system temperatures in the design state are a maximum of 95 °C on the flow side and a minimum of 55 °C to a maximum of 70 °C on the return side. The memory is on and off Design loading volume flows between 30 and 300 m³/h at the specified operating temperatures. It should work largely self-sufficiently with its control, regulation system and monitoring equipment and will be integrated into the higher-level control technology of the thermal power plant integrated. Communication with the control technology takes place via hardware contacts and Profibus/Profinet.
