- Due to its scope of services, VAG Verkehrs-Aktiengesellschaft (VAG) is a critical infrastructure company in accordance with the Ordinance on the Determination of Critical Infrastructures (KritisV). The VAG operates a control center in Nuremberg to coordinate public transport in the areas of buses and trams and subway. There are emergency control stations there in the event of a control center failure, from which the automatic subway, tram and bus can be controlled. Since the emergency control stations no longer meet the technical requirements and are also too close to the control center, A new emergency control center was set up as a fallback level. This order includes the project control services, project management services and operational coordination for construction phases II and III.
