Description: The Theodor Litt School is a large industrial and technical vocational school center with currently 2,425 students in the fields of construction / wood, IT professions, automotive technology, metal technology, as well as heating, sanitary and air conditioning technology. In an integrated planning process, the city of Gießen developed an educational and spatial usage concept in 2018/2019 and a sustainability concept for the replacement of the 2 existing, outdated workshop buildings in 2020. This replacement building is the subject of the competition; The structure and shape of the new building should promote the educational concept and enable innovative learning and work processes. With a total usable area of 4,400 m2, the budget is EUR 9.8 million (gross).
