The Nibelungenhalle, built in 1977, shaped the cultural and sporty life of the city of Wallduern for several decades. Event place served a large number of public uses of sports events to concerts to trade fairs and social Events and was a central place of urban community life.
The condition of the existing hall was made after intensive preliminary examinations to realize a contemporary new building that die Tradition of the Nibelungenhalle continues, and at the same time sets new architectural, urban planning and sustainable standards.
Competition area comprises around 6,000 m2 and is located at the site of the current existing hall. with become a BGF of around 3,300 m2.
