Not open planning competition according to RPW with an advanced application process New building "Tor to Literature" Marbach at the Neckar Realization competition with 20 participants-
Under this title the literary campus of the DLA, consisting of Schiller-Nationalmuseum (1903), archive building (1972) including extension (1995), Modernity Literature Museum (2006) and Collegienhaus (1993), is to be expanded by a research archive on Schillerhoehe in Marbach am Neckar.
The new building will be at the location The Hermann Zanker Hallen bathroom was built and is to be completed in 2031 at the latest. The new building complements the building ensemble with another cam-based building.
It is expected that the new building as an architecturally significant, sustainable, climate -optimized as possible Building presented. In the newly created building, the functions of research archive, Ma-Gazin, digitization, conference and event space, separate jobs as well as offices for administration and other adjoining rooms and other agents must be undermined. The new building project "Tor to Literature" as a lighthouse project, adds in the course of the garden show in 2033, the architecturally significant building ensemble of the newly created literary park on the Schillerhoehe and contributes to the expansion of the German Literaturarc...
