Description:
The UKB intends to set up a nuclear medicine hot laboratory in the basement of the Surgical Center (Building 023). The construction project is part of the MedMoP medical modernization program. The existing building is a 4-wing building and is currently used as a surgical centeruses. The archive and the lounge for the employees were located in the basement. The existing building structure is now to be expanded into a nuclear hot laboratory in accordance with the requirements of the EnEV. For this purpose, the building will receive a new floor slab and will be constructed using a wall sawing processsealed against moisture. Overall, a laboratory is being created with research areas and production areas (clean room), which have special requirements in terms of radiation protection. According to the user, work will be carried out in the new laboratory complex of the radiochemistry/radiopharmacy departmentradioactive substances. On the one hand, a normal chemical laboratory and on the other hand, a nuclide laboratory located in a controlled area. Access takes place via the main entrance on the ground floor of the existing building. For access to the technical area and the need for oneA separate emergency exit is created via an external staircase. Delivery takes place via a ramp adjacent to the outside staircase.
