- At the Hohen Wangelin location, the State Research Institute for Agriculture and Fishing MV operates a pilot plant for the development of commercial pikeperch production. The aim of the project is to set up a commercial pikeplashfish quaculture in location -independent rearing systems in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, especially the provision of large quantities of vital sentence zander. In scientific attempts, it was found in the project that the use of algae in the first days of life brings an absolute benefit to the survival rate and the quality of the seedlings. In the experiments it was demonstrated that the nannochloropsis sp. Algae products can be achieved 100 %improvement in seedling quality. To examine the successful use of algae products more precisely, two different algae products from the Alge Nannochloropsis are supposed to sp. to be analyzed in order to compare them in their composition. The analysis results as well as the success in the rearing of the fish and the costs of the products are evaluated and, as a result decided. The aim is to replace previously used product (€ 79/l with cell number 12 x 10^9 cells/ml) with a cheaper (€ 116/l with cell number 68 x 10^9 cells/ml).
