- The regional tangent West (RTW) is a new tangent rail connection in the local and neighborhood traffic of the Frankfurt Rhein-Main metropolitan region. It serves to improve
of local rail passenger traffic by connecting the western districts of the city of Frankfurt am Mainas well as the surrounding cities and municipalities and for
better intermodal connection of the Frankfurt am Main Airport. In this context, new track connections and engineering structures are being built, which require a remodeling of the
existing system of DB Infrago AG.
