Description:
As part of the school building offensive, the state capital of Munich plans the construction of a 5-day high school with two sports halls and an underground car park, as well as a creche at Seaustrasse 1, in the district 1 old town-Lehel.To write out free facilities.
The start of planning for the outdoor facilities is planned from May 2025, the entire new school building complex should go into operation in the school year 2029/30.
The new building consists of the following areas of use:
- 5-day G9 high school according to the Munich learning house concept
-Triple sports hall with grandstand
- a simple sports hall
- an underground car park for cars- a creche with 3 crib groups
- apartment for THV
The Luitpold-Gymnasium, built in 1958, is currently on the property, which can no longer cover the current number of students and by oneNew building is to be replaced. The new building is to be built largely in wood or wood hybrid construction. The roofs are to be greened as best as possible and in combination with photovoltaics. According to the decision of the Bavarian Reconciliation Act, min. 30% of the facades must be greened.
In the oppositeEnglish garden, which is declared as a landscape protection area in the land use plan, is located not far from the school location, the district sports facility (Spor) "Am Hirschanger", whose free sports facilities are used by Luitpold-Gymnasium for school sports.
