SBH | Schulbau Hamburg, as the state company of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg (called SBH below), has the task of planning, building and managing the school properties, taking into account the school concerns according to economic principles, and the more than 400Schools to the authority for school and vocational training (BSB).

The Max-Schmeling district school with currently a total of 1,120 students,
consists of two locations. The location on Denksteinweg 17 (450 students)
in the Jenfeld district of Hamburg and the location on Oktaviostrasse143 (670
student) on the border to the Marienthal district. At both locations,
secondary level I (class 5-10) is currently being taught in 3.5 trains. The secondary level II (class 11-13) is taught in four
trains at the
Oktaviostrasse 143 location.
Due to the high influx of theLast years, the school is to be expanded at both locations.
For the Oktaviostrasse location, this creates an additional space requirement
of 10 classrooms, 7 specialist rooms, an extension of the
existing food intake and an additional 1-field sports hall
withSubjects.
The above-mentioned additional need for classrooms and specialist classes should be realized in a class building with an area of 2,067 m2 NGF as a new building.(Holstenhofweg...
