Description:
The city of Velbert intends to use the district management in the center of Velbert-Neviges under the name "Old Town Management" to carry out and support the implementation of the measures of the "Integrated Action Concept to Strengthen the Center of Velbert-Neviges" as part of the urban renewal program To continue the "growth and sustainable renewal" of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia/the federal government.
For this purpose, an external planning office should be commissioned to manage the old town for a period of 36 months, if possible from February 1st, 2026.
To strengthen the Neviges town center, especially for improvement of the image and thus also to increase the attractiveness, an additional concept for identity creation should be created.
The concept for creating identity includes the conception of a strategic mission statement with a targeted communication structure.
Description of the Procurement:
The main tasks of the Neviges old town management as an interface between citizens and administration are listed below:
1. Involvement of citizens in the process of urban renewal
•Presence at the Neviges weekly market on Thursday mornings and one Afternoon a week open office hours for those interested in the old town office
•Intensive public relations work
•Organization and implementation of participation processes for urban renewal projects (on-site and alternative options)
