The KVB is currently using a number of different voices in the passenger information systems, both as a synthetic voice of a TTS engine and as a studio recording/recording. All these different Svoices are not necessarily conducive to sustainable recognition of the mobility service provider KVB and make it difficult, at least in the case of the TTS voices, to provide pronunciation rules. The aim of the KVB is a uniform text-to-speech engine in the passenger information systemsimplement, which uses a uniform voice (KVB voice or "a voice for Cologne") and uniform pronunciation rules.
