Description:
The health insurance companies involved are pursuing the goal of concluding discount agreements for the active ingredient empagliflozin with all suitable pharmaceutical companies in accordance with Section 130c (1) SGB V. The contract is concluded as part of the open-house original procedure of the health insurance companies:
Individual negotiationsThe contents of the contract are not listed, uniform conditions apply. The health insurance companies do not guarantee individual contractual partners any exclusivity. The contract period is a maximum of 24 months starting on July 1st, 2023. The contract ends on June 30, 2025 at the latest, regardless of the date of theconclusion of contract. If the patent expires before the end date mentioned above, the contract ends automatically at the end of the month in which the patent expires.
