• The health insurance companies involved pursue the goal of concluding discount agreements with all suitable pharmaceutical companies in accordance with Section 130c Paragraph 1 SGB V for the active ingredient baricitinib. The contract is concluded as part of the health insurance companies' open house originals procedure: individual negotiationsThe contents of the contract are not kept, uniform conditions apply. The health insurance companies do not guarantee individual contractual partners exclusivity. The contract term is a maximum of 24 months starting on January 1st, 2024. The contract ends on December 31, 2025 at the latest, regardless of the dates conclusion of contract. If the patent expires before the above-mentioned end date, the contract ends automatically at the end of the month in which the patent expires. Joining this Open House Originals process is possible at any time within the contract period. Due to the existence of industrial property rights in HiWith regard to the active ingredient or combination of active ingredients that is the subject of the procedure, the participation and contract documents will only be made available to those pharmaceutical companies that supply medicines for the active ingredient or the combination of active ingredients that are the subject of the procedureoffer/market the resulting combination of active ingredients or demonstrate to the TK that they intend to offer/market such medicinal products within the contract term.
