Description:
Based on the existing fiber optic infrastructure, BLS Broadband is planning to gradually set up a subsidized gigabit network based on FTTB technology in the district areas mentioned in Section A.3 of the task description for the tender documents over the years 2026-2029. Based on the existing backbone network of BLS Broadband, the subsidized gigabit network (FTTB) consists of supply infrastructures in the supply area as well as inner-city distribution networks in the respective expansion areas - Altheim (OT Waldhausen), Bingen (Kernort), Inzigkofen, Sigmaringen (OT Jungnau), Beuron, Leibertingen, Wald, Neuhausen ob Eck (OT Schwandorf and Worndorf)

The client is the BLS broadband supply company in Landkreis Sigmaringen mbH & Co. KG (BLS Broadband).
The client plans based on the existing infrastructure the establishment of a subsidized gigabit network based on FTTB technology in the district areas mentioned under section A.3 of the task description appendix gradually in the years 2026 to 2029. The subsidized gigabit network is based on the existing backbone network of BLS Broadband (FTTB) from supply infrastructures in the supply area as well as inner-city distribution networks in the respective expansion areas.
