Husum Glasfaser GmbH & Co. KG (hereinafter referred to as "concession guide") has carried out a self -economic expansion to establish a high -performance telecommunications infrastructure (fiber optic infrastructure) in individual areas of the city of Husum. After the fiber optic network is completely established the lease was leased to the previous operator. A new operator is now to be found with the local tender that operates the existing network.

The existing passive network infrastructure (Court tubes, unaltered fiber optic etc.) The concession guide is to be leased to the concession owner. The licensee will bring in the active technology, operate the network function and operational and provide end customer services.
With the tender, a network operator are determined that equips the passive infrastructure with active network components, operates it for the duration of the contract term, waiting and a nationwide, reliable supply of all end customers in the expansion area (private, commercial, public) with at least 1 gigabit/s Symmetrically guaranteed at market prices. This means that the concession is the network operation and the supply of the addresses in the project area. Around 980 connections have already been created in the concession's project area.
