The subject of the present award procedure is the implementation of a data center as part of a combined tender competition of the planning and construction work in the negotiation procedure according to VOB/A, 2nd section with an advanced European participation competition.

As part of the agenda "Ortenau 2030 - Future Health the medical and infrastructural structures of the Ortenau clinics are extensively reorganized. A central component of this Transformation is the structure of a powerful, highly available and secure IT infrastructure. This includes in particular the construction of two congruent data centers in separate locations in the final expansion. The goal is in the first step, the turnkey establishment of a physical and logical Safe data center with the latest infrastructure that meets the highest demands on availability, security and energy efficiency. The subject of the tender is the further planning, execution and turnkey implementation of the data center on the basis of an already available Approval planning. Optionally, the implementation of a further data center in identical planning and construction for a possible implementation in 2028/29 must be offered.
