• Rent of printers including consumables, except for paper, within an output management system for the UKE group.
  The University Hospital Hamburg-Eppendorf (UKE) has been one of the leading clinics in Europe since its foundation in 1889 and an important part of the healthcare system.With around 15,000 employees, the UKE is the third largest employer in the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg. As an innovative and future -oriented clinic, the UKE was the first university hospital in Europe to introduce an electronic patient file that has a paperless day -to -day clinical lifeenables and the medical care is more efficient and secure. The UKE pursues the goal of becoming a largely paperless hospital, which can also be felt in administration and in dealing with printing materials. Around 2,700 output devices are currently being used, their annualPrint volume at around 34,324,000 pages including 5,721,000 pages in color, which are distributed over seven different device classes. In order to further reduce paper consumption and make the operation more efficient, the UKE is planning to reduce the number of devices. The number ofDevice classes are reduced and the total number of the devices are reduced to around 1,500. An essential step in this process is the introduction of Pull Print/Followme Print on almost all devices.
