Description:
Upgrading multifunctional area P3 (parking event) The Karlsruhe Trade Fair Center intends to fortify and technically upgrade the outdoor area to the east. The approximately 80,000 m2 area is currently being used as a temporary parking lot for the exhibition center and as a temporary event areae used for outdoor events. The surface currently consists of meadows and gravel access roads. In the course of the construction work, the area is to be upgraded as a permanent, year-round usable parking area and for outdoor events. The construction work for this, multiFunctionally usable area, includes the traffic development, the expansion for approx. 2,500 car parking spaces as well as the expansion and installation of event-related infrastructure. There is an old airport on an adjacent property as part of environmental protection and a decommissioning obligationlandebahn zurueck zu bauen.
