Description:
The aim of the project is to develop attacks on environmental sensors that are used for automated and/or autonomous driving functions in road traffic. For this purpose, a sensor market overview must be created as a basis and an inventory of existing attacks without pphysical contact with the vehicle. The market overview must show which sensor technology is being installed, currently and in the near future, and how the sensor data is processed/evaluated. One of the core goals of the project is, based on the findings of the researchto develop, refine and develop further attacks. Potential attacks must first be tested using a simulation environment and further vulnerabilities must be identified. The next step is to understand the attacks on sensor components in order to analyze themen whether these also work in reality and what effort is involved in producing artifacts. Furthermore, the attacks found against real vehicles must be verified and refined.
