Description: The use of software-defined radio (SDR) allows the rapid prototypic implementation of novel radio transmission methods in realistic radio environment. For the development of novel procedures, therefore, a wireless network based on 3 SDR base stations is to be constructed in the context of a research project. For preprocessing the received data, 3 PC systems are provided in a 19 "housing. These must be equipped to control the SDR frontends with at least 4 USB3.0 ports (or better USB). To simplify the integration, these USB interfaces must be applied to the back of the 19 "housings.
To postprocessing the data 2 other PC systems are required, but not to be installed in a 19 "housing. These are to be connected to each other via a 10Gbit / s Ethernet interface to assume the compute-intensive part of the data evaluation.
