Description:
The necessary part of the further digitization of the Federal Republic of Germany is to implement modern education technologies across the board. Against this background, the states of Berlin, Bremen, Hamburg, Hesse, North Rhine-Westphalia and Rhineland-Palatinate have Digital pact School in a cross-border project merged to build an efficient cross-border educational cloud infrastructure. Govdigital eG carries out a pilot phase to build up the educational cloud infrastructure (PCI). Feasibility study carried out. As a result, it was found that a cross-border cloud solution not only realized technically, but also economically sensible and, through a standardized architecture, creates added value for everyone involved. Among other things, relevant platforms and software solutions are offered centrally for the countries involved. EG A framework contract for the procurement of the Open Source Filhosting and communication platform NextCloud concludes the solution to the above. Countries, their school providers and schools as well as potentially other countries and schools/school providers throughout Germany (hereby "together" needs ") as a service. to be able to react.
