PEMEL test facility Delivery, commissioning and operator training of a test system for polymer electrolyte membrane electrolysis stacks for a hydrogen production rate of up to 80 SLPM The research project BPPT_selektiv is currently being worked on at ZSW, in which new... Coating processes for bipolar plates in polymer electrolyte membrane electrolysis (PE-MEL) will be investigated. As part of these studies, performance and service life tests will also be carried out for PEMEL with a hydrogen production rate of up to 80 NLPM carried out. In order to carry out these tests, a test system with automatic data acquisition is required at the earliest possible date (commissioning in 2026 if possible), which allows the unsupervised continuous operation of test items with a Hydrogen production rates in the range between 1 and 80 SLPM are possible at a pressure of up to 50 bar on the hydrogen side. Test bench operation should be possible at differential pressure and at constant pressure. Both the anode and the cathode side should be included Water must be available.
