Description:
Due to the handling of fluoride -containing extinguishing foam in the past, the main fire station (Feuerwache 1) of the Cologne/Bonn GmbH Airport and groundwater damage with per and polyfluorinated alkyl substances (PFAs) occurred. In the immediate area of the Feuerwache 1 has been operating a hydraulic renovation measure since 2017. Due to the prevailing hydrogeology and the age of the PFAS damage, the PFAs spread with the groundwater. To prevent the further spread of pollutants with the groundwater The damage source is a renovation bar, consisting of three renovation fountains with connected hydraulic renovation systems. To determine the hydrogeological characteristic data and check the effectiveness of a future necessary flag renovation, the construction of Three groundwater measuring points (and three pump tests carried out in the run -up to the pilot bores advertised here were already carried out across the board for the orientation of the underground relationships and determination in a fundamentally suitable locations. Through the accompanying engineering office in the area of CPT explorations 4, 6 and 8, determined the three starting points of the groundwater measuring points GWMS_26_FKB_FW1 to GWMS_28_FKB_FW1 as possible locations for renovation fountains.
