- WISTA Management GmbH (WISTA MG) is planning to convert and expand the former US military hospital in Berlin Lichterfelde into the FUBIC innovation center. The start-up and technology center is intended to accommodate research and serve technology-oriented start-ups and profile-compliant small and medium-sized companies. Offices and laboratories for chemistry, microbiology and physics will be built. The building is a large, free-standing structure measuring approximately 60m x 120m centrally located on an approximately five-hectare development site between Fabeckstrasse and Kamillenstrasse, which is to be developed as a campus with 6 additional new buildings in the coming years. Photovoltaic system There is a PV system (orientation: east-west). Combination with extensive green roofs planned. The nominal power should be approx. 275 kWp, two inverters of 110 kVA each are planned. In addition, a facade PV system with xxx kWp is being built for which there are also 2 inverters of 110 each kVA are provided. Both PV systems feed directly into the NSHV in the 1st basement of the FUBIC via a separate AC supply line for each inverter. The solar yield of the PV system is recorded in the balance using RLM meters. Due to the high power requirements of the FUBIC in Combination with summer power peaks (cooling), which correlate with the PV yields, are only occasionally possible in regular operation in the summer months when there is simultaneously high solar radiation and low electricity...
