- terranets bw is planning the “Spessart-Odenwald Line (SPO)”. The planned natural gas transport pipeline with a total length of approx. 117 kilometers (DN 1,000, DP 90 bar) runs through the federal state of Hesse and the Free State of Bavaria. The route is oriented largely based on the route of the existing Central Germany connection line (MIDAL). In the federal state of Hesse and the Free State of Bavaria, the SPO runs from north to south through the districts of Main-Kinzig, Aschaffenburg, Offenbach, Darmstadt-Dieburg and Bergstrasse. Nominal diameter of the main line: 1016 mm Minimum wall thickness of the main line: 16 mm Design pressure: DP 90 Route length: approx. 117 km The overall SPO project was divided into four planning approval sections: Section Hesse-Nord (PLA) from SP 0+000 to approx. SP 35+090, or from the locality of Wirtheim (municipality of Biebergemünd) - locality of Klein-Auheim (city of Hanau), length approx. 35.1 km section Hessen-Mitte (PLB) from approx. SP 35+090 to approx Modautal), length approx. 48.1 km Section Hesse-South (PLC) from SP 83+220 to approx.
