Description:
The second biological treatment stage (low-load revitalization) in sewage treatment plant 1 in the city of Nuremberg is an essential part of wastewater treatment. To generate air for low-load aeration, 10 Linde compressors (5 Lind each) are currently used for aeration tanks 1 to 4 (BB 1 to 4).e compressors for BB 1 and 2, as well as 5 Linde compressors for BB 3 and 4) and 2 AERZEN rotary lobe blowers (1 compressor each for BB 1 and 2, and 1 compressor for BB 3 and 4) were used. With regard to energy optimization, it is planned to consider the compressors for BB 1 to 4nd partly replaced. For this purpose, service phases 1 to 3 have already been processed by an engineering office and the work has been planned as far as possible (documents are included in the tender). It is now planned that the new engineering office will continue the project from service phase 5 (LPH 5).d. According to previous planning, the 10 Linde compressors are to be replaced by 8 new compressors.
