Description:
Local public transport (ÖPNV) plays a central role in the sustainable mobility transition. In order to reduce environmental pollution and CO2 emissions, the introduction of low-emission and climate-friendly bus drives is being promoted. Battery-electric buses offer a promising alternative to conventional diesel buses. They are locally emission-free and therefore contribute to improving air quality in cities and communities. In addition, they are significantly quieter than Diesel buses, which leads to lower noise pollution. This change requires that the battery-electric buses in public transport receive appropriate workshop equipment from EW Bus GmbH in Eichsfeld, a subsidiary of Eichsfeldwerke. The The aim of the tender is to plan and procure workshop equipment in the form of a safe roof working stand, called DAS. Efficient public transport can only function with high-quality, tailored workshop equipment.
