Description of the planning task
General
Due to the construction of the Berlin Brandenburg International Airport (BER), there is a need to open up traffic to the approximately 440-hectare area in the east of the airport. The transversal in Schoenefeld, OT Waltersdorf, will be the area between the A113and open up A117. A relief road / main access road of around four kilometers will be created from the Waltersdorf commercial area to the Berlin Business Park. After completion, it will be operated and maintained as a public road or facility. The owner is Gemeinde Schoenefeld.
The transversal is planned as a two-way lane. The routing elements correspond to the guidelines for the construction of city streets (RASt 06), street category HS IV (main traffic street with local connection function). The design speed became Ve = 50 km/hbased on. In the ancillary facilities of the transversal, there are footpaths and cycle paths that ensure the continuous network of footpaths and cycle paths from Treptow to Waltersdorf and the airport BER.
The planning of the transversal itself is not part of the tendered service.
