- Planning for the construction of a presentation location for the Wismut heritage at the Ronneburg location of Wismut GmbH, lot 2: service profile for structural planning Provision of specialist planning services according to HOAI 2021 in the service profile of structural planning and associated Special services. On September 20, 2017, the Federal Republic of Germany, the Free States of Thuringia and Saxony and Wismut GmbH agreed to develop a concept for dealing with the historical legacy of uranium ore mining in East Germany. This resulted in the Wismut Stiftung gGmbH being created in 2021, whose task is to preserve, research and communicate the Wismut heritage. Since 1990, Wismut GmbH has been carrying out considerable remediation of the affected areas worldwide - an example of this is the Neue Ronneburg landscape. A new presentation and memorial place is to be created at the entrance to this site, operated by the Wismut Stiftung gGmbH and built by Wismut GmbH. It should serve as a place for learning, remembering and helping to shape things. After The implementation concept and joint determination of the city of Ronneburg, Wismut GmbH and the Ronneburg mining association as well as the mining tradition association agreed on the entrance to the Neue Landschaft as the planning area of the new presentation location due to the predominant location advantages (authenticity, visibility, reference point and synergies).
