- Freedom Emscher is a cooperation project by the cities of Essen and Bottrop and RAG Montan Immobilien GmbH. The two cities and RAG Montan Immobilien GmbH are partners of the development company (FEEG). Feeg develops a total area of 17 square kilometers on Essener and Bottroper City area. The area is divided into several potential areas. One of these potential areas is the Welheimer Mark site in the area of the city of Bottrop. The Welheimer Mark is an approximately 11 hectare area of development excl. The compensation areas in the urban area of Bottrop. The area is largely used today. Within the context described above, the potential area is to be developed into a location for large -scale businesses and the area of production.
