Description:
The solid fehmarnbelt crossing (FBQ) is built as a combined street and rail connection. According to the State Treaty with the Kingdom of Denmark, the FRG is responsible for the expansion of the German rail back connection. As a result, the DB route 1100 is carried out and new Length of approx. 90 km with two electrified tracks. The speed is raised to 160 km/h, in some areas also to 200 km/h. The project is divided into ten planning approval sections, and commissioning is to be reached by 2029.
