The Burgmuehlgraben branched off from the Mandau in the Zittau district of Pethau at the former Pethau fire brigade and runs along the Westpark in Zittau and flows out after a flow distance of approx. 2.2 km back to Mandau. In addition to its function as a local outfall, the Burgmuehlgraben serves to irrigate the West Park with several ponds. By creating a bypass channel, the ecological continuity of the Burgmuehlgraben will be restored. The planning order includes the Execution of the
