Description:
To date, the renovation area Koenigstein has operated a biological sewage treatment plant, the oxidation ditch north, for sanitary wastewater treatment. This was built with the establishment of the location in the early 1970s. It was originally designed for around 4,500 employees in the 3 shift system.
Until At the present time there is no way to connect the location to the public sewage system. The last examination for public development took place in the course of obtaining the building permit for the replacement new functional building in 2016.
The existing sewage system is located northeast of the new, newly built functional building in 2018, on an area of approx. 892.50 m2 with various structures and technical systems.
The functionality described below must be preserved due to the existing permits.
The sanitary wall of the Location of Koenigstein is led to the company building and flows through the sieve system over the influx into the oxidation ditch.
By ventilating and changing the wastewater, bacteria and others become Microorganisms stimulated to reduce the organic substances. Due to the floating triggering device, the wastewater reaches the clarification basin, where the bead sludge settles from the cleaned sewage.
