The ISEK Hillerheide, which was developed in 2015 on behalf of the city of Recklinghausen and decided by the Council, defines the following five lead projects for the development of the Hillerheide district: 1st "Future concept of former trotting racing track" 2nd "Urban integration Blitzkuhlenstrasse" 3."Attractive attractive middle Trudisplatz" 4. "City life - existing supplementing and networking" 5. "Energetic neighborhood renovation" as part of the implementation of the urban development concept (lead project 1) "Living on the Water" on the approx. 34 ha area of the former trotting track is alongThe A2 motorway is intended for the construction of an approx. 250 m long and up to 7 m high noise barrier, since the existing noise barrier on the A2 and the noise protection wall built is not sufficient to ensure noise protection for the newly planned residential area.
