• Planning service for the new construction of the mechanical cleaning stage, taking into account the principles of Cradle to Cradle (C2C) The Arnsberg - Neheim sewage treatment plant is being redesigned in its entire wastewater area because it has very outdated M and E technology (often 20 and over 30 years). Due to the tense spare parts situation and the no longer sufficiently efficient mechanical cleaning, the construction of a new mechanical cleaning system including inlet screw pumping station, rakes and sand trap as well as the Renewal of the primary clarifier should be implemented as an urgent measure. Objectives of the measures: •Safe wastewater pumping using screw pumps for the new mechanical wastewater treatment for mixed water inflow up to QM: 880 l/s •Reliable rejection of materials 5 mm •Reliable removal of sand 0.2 mm •Reliable primary sludge and floating sludge removal In parallel to ongoing operations, a new screw pumping station, a new screening system and a new sand trap are planned. The sludge scrapers in the two primary clarifiers will also be replaced. The building construction components to be renewed should be inspired by circular approaches (cradle to cradle principles).
