• The Uckermark district is structurally largely influenced by the local chemical process industry. Due to the current and future decline in the importance of fossil fuels and demographic change, the region is under acute pressure Pressure to transform. The region is therefore aiming to build an “Innovation Campus” at the Schwedt/Oder location with funding from the Just Transition Fund (JTF).
