Description:
Planning a waste heat heat pump system in Erlangen. Erlanger Stadtwerke AG intends to commission the planning and construction of a fully automatic waste heat heat pump system, which will be located south of the planned North Bavarian High Performance Computing Center (NHR). to be built on Nikolaus-Fiebiger-Straße in Erlangen for continuous operation. The heat generated is fed into the Erlanger Stadtwerke district heating network. Three waste heat expansion stages of the high-performance data center are planned: Level 1: 2 MWth waste heat (2030) Stage 2: 5 MWth (2031) Stage 3: 10 MWth (2035) The heat pump system is designed modularly, so that for the above-mentioned Additional heat pumps can be retrofitted in expansion stages. The waste heat temperature depends on the used Computer technology - at the time of ordering - and should be in the range between 42°C and 50°C. The heat pump system must provide cold to the data center. The system is to be planned fully automatically and with high availability and should be primarily can be operated remotely from the thermal power station location.
